Industrial mechanic (m/f/d)

As FINKBEINER Holzindustrie KG and FINKBEINER Logistik & Fahrzeugtechnik GmbH, we are the fifth generation to combine a sawmill and planing mill, log logistics and an independent commercial vehicle workshop in Triberg. With around 100 employees, we combine tradition with the latest technology and offer real entrepreneurial freedom.

To strengthen our team, we are now looking for an industrial mechanic (m/f/d) to maintain our production facilities – full-time, permanent.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, inspection and repair of our production machines and systems
• Analysis of malfunctions and systematic determination of causes of errors in mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Independent troubleshooting and sustainable problem solving
• Ensuring a smooth production process and minimizing downtimes
• Participation in conversions, modernizations and new machine facilities
• Actively contributing ideas to optimize our systems and processes
• Documentation and tracking of maintenance, malfunctions and measures in our digital property management system

Profile

• Completed training as an industrial mechanic, mechatronics engineer, agricultural and construction machinery mechatronics engineer, vehicle mechanic or comparable
• Good knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics and drive technology
• Experience in welding (ideally inert gas), turning or milling an advantage
• Independent, structured and reliable way of working as well as strong teamwork skills in our maintenance team
• Technical understanding and the ability to systematically analyze faults and resolve them sustainably
